Role Overview
We are a growing startup looking for a fresh graduate to join our team in a research-focused marketing role. This position supports our sales, marketing, and internal operations by conducting structured research, organizing data, and assisting with sales and back-office activities.
This role is suitable for someone at the start of their career who is curious, detail-oriented, and eager to learn how startups operate.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Research
- Research potential customers and companies using online sources
- Identify decision-makers and key contacts based on provided guidelines
- Prepare and maintain prospect and lead lists for the sales team
- Support basic lead qualification and data verification
Market & Business Research
- Assist in researching industries, competitors, and target customer segments
- Collect and organize market data for internal use
- Summarize research findings into simple reports or slides
- Support marketing and sales planning with research insights
Sales & Back-Office Support
- Assist with handling and organizing inbound sales inquiries
- Support preparation of sales materials, proposals, and trackers
- Update spreadsheets or CRM systems with accurate information
Operations & Team Support
- Support day-to-day administrative and coordination tasks
- Help maintain internal documents, folders, and databases
- Assist with ad-hoc tasks to support the wider team
- Learn and follow internal processes while suggesting improvements when appropriate
Requirements
- Fresh graduate or 1-2 years in Marketing, Business, Sales support, Communications, or related field
- Good research and organizational skills
- Familiarity with LinkedIn and online research tools
- Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets
- Willingness to learn and take guidance
- Good written communication skills
- Responsible, detail-oriented, and reliable
