In this role, you will report to Operations with a focus around data which is used by our Chief Risk Officer, who is responsible for overseeing and managing the organization's risk management framework. Your work will be integral to ensuring that data quality is at the forefront and as it ends up into Aladdin accurately and effectively for internal and external review.
Job Responsibilities:
·Ensure smooth and accurate data flow downstream into Aladdin.
·Collaborate daily with the data integrity team to review and validate data.
·Promptly raise any data quality issues to the appropriate stakeholders.
·Collaborate with team members to address and resolve data issues swiftly.
·Analyze the portfolio’s risks attributes to ensure the day over day changes are valid per specific category.
·Maintain a clear understanding of the risks associated with our portfolio.
·Build out additional checks within our systems and technology infrastructure as required.
·Develop risk monitoring and analysis tools to support data integrity and accuracy.
·Maintain open lines of communication to ensure efficient teamwork.
Requirements
·3 – 5 years financial markets experience, with the last 2 years in a risk management/ Operations function.
·A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is required.
·Cross-asset class experience.
·Comprehensive understanding of private securities and their complexities.
·Knowledge of a variety of financial products, including cash and derivatives.
·Experience in creating and interpreting scenario and stress test analysis.
·Strong communication skills required for regular interaction with the investment team, investors and external business partners.
·Strong quantitative skills.
·Familiarity with portfolio and risk management systems.
·Experience or understanding of Aladdin interface/ system.
