Granicus is looking for an energetic and entrepreneurial-minded Senior Financial Analyst to join the Finance Team. Reporting to and partnering with the Manager of FP&A, the successful candidate will collaborate with executive leadership to develop budgets and forecasts, conduct insightful financial analysis, and influence the strategic direction of the company. 

What your impact will look like here:

  • Serve as a trusted business partner for department leaders to help develop forecasts, drive increased insight into budget and expense management, resource planning, and other financial operations support.
  • Analyze and summarize variances to plan, understanding key business drivers to provide a concise and meaningful narrative to leadership.
  • Prepare best-in-class investor presentations.
  • Develop and analyze product-level profitability to inform strategy.
  • Manage services revenue forecast updates.
  • Improve and maintain capacity models to evaluate resource planning.
  • Present recommendations to executives based on data-driven analysis.

You will love this job if you have:

  • BCom/MBA in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a highly analytical field (e.g. Engineering, Math).
  • 8-12 years of experience as financial analyst, business analyst, or related role. 
  • High proficiency with financial planning systems; experience with Adaptive Planning and NetSuite (or similar tools) a plus.
  • Ability to partner with, present to, and influence senior leadership (including C-level executives); experience partnering with professional services organization a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to autonomously deliver high quality output and take initiative on projects.
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills -- experience building driver-based financial models.
  • Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills -- ability to solve ambiguous problems with imperfect or incomplete data.
