About This Team:
Citrix Observability Team helps customers by Providing Monitoring & Troubleshooting capabilities of Citrix Components mainly CVAD and DaaS. It is the default console which is used by all enterprise customers on a daily basis.
Team is self-motivated, and owns the product with full sense of responsibility and customer empathy.
Job Description/Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough manual testing of our web-based analytic product to identify bugs, usability issues, and performance concerns.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
- Candidate should have in-depth knowledge of working of web-servers, browsers to backend integration, working of the databases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and designers to ensure high-quality releases.
- Design and execute test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements.
- Participate in requirement analysis and review meetings to provide valuable input on testability and quality aspects.
- Investigate and troubleshoot reported issues, working closely with development teams to resolve them in a timely manner.
- Continuously improve testing processes and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and assist in their professional development.
- Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and trends in QA methodologies.
Required Experience/Skills:
- BE / BTech / MTech in Computer Science or related engineering fields.
- 6+ years of experience in software quality assurance with a focus on testing web-based applications.
- Proficiency in manual testing techniques and methodologies.
- Strong understanding of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, HTTP and also on Database like MS SQL.
- Experience in developing and maintaining automated test scripts using tools like Robot Automation framework, Jmeter or related tools.
- Hands on experience with Azure, AWS or any other public cloud and deployments.
- Solid programming skills in languages such as Powershell, C#.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality software products on time.
