As a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst / Engineer, you will work closely with Professional Services (PS), Solutions Consulting (SC), and other members of Value Delivery to automate the testing process and validate the accuracy of the deliverables produced by the Analytics Delivery team. Through a combination of automation, process documentation, and manual review, you will be responsible for ensuring that all deliverables are consistent, optimized, and accurate based on the requested scope of work.

Responsibilities
- Perform troubleshooting, optimization, and performance tuning for recurring data extracts and ad-hoc reporting.
- Validate results of deliverables against project scope, using knowledge of the healthcare industry, market, and standard operating procedures.
- Develop database scripts to enhance data management processes.
- Monitor and resolve daily failure alerts.
- Create and maintain both manual and automated test cases that will put deliverables through rigorous end-to-end QC.
- Partner with the PS and SC teams to provide feedback and suggestions for improvement of requirements and Analysts to ensure the delivery of high-quality reports.
- Conduct project post implementation reviews to identify key enhancements and lessons learned to drive continuous improvement and optimize project outcomes.
- Assist and advise on best practices for quality assurance and make recommendations to improve efficiency and performance.
- Escalate any issues in a timely manner and provide input for resolution.
Requirements
SQL Expert
- SQL Coding Expertise:
- Demonstrate over 5 years of experience in SQL coding.
- Show proficiency in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and optimizing SQL code for performance and efficiency.
- Quality Control (QC) and Analytics:
- Conduct rigorous end-to-end QC of pharmaceutical healthcare analytics data and processes.
- Develop and execute manual and automated test cases to ensure the accuracy and reliability of analytics outputs.
- Write efficient and effective SQL code to support QC tasks.
- Analyze various reports and results to determine appropriate QC steps.
- Access raw data tables, write SQL queries to pull relevant data, and compare it with provided results for validation.
- Process Automation:
- Develop and implement automation solutions for recurring reports and analytics processes.
- Create and maintain stored procedures to streamline data processing and reporting tasks.
- Leverage advanced SQL techniques and tools, such as Databricks, to enhance automation efforts.
- Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs):
- Develop, document, and maintain standard operating procedures for SQL coding, QC processes, and automation workflows.
- Ensure all SOPs align with industry best practices.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Demonstrate at least 3 years of technical expertise in advanced SQL.
- Utilize advanced SQL functions and features to solve complex analytical problems.
- Experience with databricks is highly desirable.
- Process Optimization:
- Continuously review and improve SQL code and processes to enhance performance and delivery speed.
- Identify opportunities for optimization and implement changes to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in pharmaceutical healthcare analytics
- Proven track record of developing and implementing processing automation solutions
- Familiarity with Databricks and other data processing tools.
