In this role, you will be responsible for testing Oil & Gas Applications & API. You will be involved in Functional & Manual Testing. You will be involved in Agile Software Development Approach.

As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Breaking down problems and estimates time for quality related tasks 

• Demonstrating increasing expertise in application domain and functional areas 

• Applying various testing types and methodologies effectively during SDLC 

• Taking ownership of small tasks and deliver without supervision while using their discretion to seek help when necessary 

• Applying principles of SDLC and methodologies like Agile/Scrum Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring, and Testing Techniques 

• Working independently and delivers testing and use case creation which meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the technology selected for the project 

• Writing effective tests according to best practices so that crucial functional requirements are verified, and tests remain valid when code is refactored 

• Collaborating with development team in bugs fixing and build plans 

• Collaborating with Leaders in creating test plans 

• Implementing and configures testing tools and at times help junior staff 

• Implementing system-level integration testing 

• Being skilled in core data structures and algorithms 

• Defining quality metrics, best practices, and coding patterns, and provides deep expertise on the coding

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have a minimum of bachelor’s degree in Engineering with a focus on Computer Science.  

• Have a minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in software testing and QA 

• Have experience in manual testing  

• Have experience testing desktop and web applications 

• Have experience in test case design and requirement analysis 

• Have experience in test case preparation for web applications 

• Have experience on database testing 

• Have experience working in Agile/Scrum team 

• Have experience with Azure DevOps / Microsoft Teams / Jira 

• Have experience working in a Scrum Team 

• Have good English communication skills
