Project Role Description : Write the software that powers and operates a silicon chip. Develop pre-silicon firmware and software with a direct interface to hardware. Integrate and develop C tests/APIs and software build flow. Perform design and code reviews. Test and validate product implementations.

Good to have skills : Embedded C++, Python (Programming Language)

Summary:
As a Silicon Firmware and Embedded Engineer, a typical day involves writing and developing software that controls and operates silicon chips. The role includes creating firmware before silicon fabrication, closely interfacing software with hardware components, and integrating various tests and application programming interfaces. The engineer actively participates in design and code reviews to ensure quality and reliability. Additionally, the role requires thorough testing and validation of product implementations to meet performance and functionality standards, contributing to the overall success of silicon-based projects.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of firmware with hardware components.
- Document design decisions and test results to support knowledge sharing and future development.
- Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support in understanding project requirements and technical challenges.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Embedded C.
- Good To Have Skills: Python (Programming Language), Embedded C++.
- Strong understanding of embedded systems architecture and real-time operating systems.
- Experience in developing and debugging firmware for silicon chips.
- Familiarity with software build systems and version control tools.
- Ability to analyze and optimize code for performance and memory usage.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Embedded C.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
