Who will you be working with?
The HR Operations Specialist is part of the HR Shared Services Team. The role handles operational and system support for employee lifecycle transactions for APAC, MEA, India and Global Contingent worker processes. The Specialist processes transactions and works closely with the HR Operations Regional Manager to ensure strong customer service to the business and to drive efficiency by improving operational processes and procedures.
How will you make a difference?
In this role you will:
- Maintain and conduct employee lifecycle transactions in Workday related to employee lifecycle processes such as New Hire, Job Changes, International Movements, Separation
- Maintain Global Contingent worker data in Workday
- Partner with HR and Managers to ensure timely processing of transactions and effective collaboration
- Cross train with multiple country HR Operations processes and procedures
- Participate in payroll reconciliation of data and fulfilment of statutory obligations.
- Act as point of escalation for HR Managers.
- Identify opportunities to improve HR Ops processes and participate in continuous improvement projects.
- Cultivate strong relationships with local HR teams and extended stakeholders and COEs.
- Prepare and ensure successful mass uploads in Workday and submit requests to HRIS.
- Manage and ensure successful completion of Workday testing for system upgrades, optimizations, or new business processes, as assigned.
- Proactively manage and report on transactions and SLAs to drive timely completion, and compliance.
- Other projects and duties as assigned.
What We Want to Know About You
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or relevant field.
- Minimum of 4-5 years’ progressive experience in Human Resources, preferably in a Shared Services environment.
- Experience with HR administration, policy and local labour codes, ideally within a large, complex enterprise.
- Experience working within HR systems, preferably Workday. Experience with a ticketing system such as ServiceNow.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite with intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables & charts, vlookups).
Competencies:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Fluent in English.
- Exposure to working with a Global HR Shared services Model
- Experience working with multiple countries across APAC, India, Middleast etc.
- Passion for providing outstanding customer service.
- Strong process acumen, problem-solving skills, and ability to handle escalations effectively.
- Continuous-improvement mindset and enthusiasm for improving customer experience.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
What will your typical day look like?
- Manage employee lifecycle transactions in Workday, including hires, onboarding, job changes, and separations, ensuring accuracy and timely completion while partnering with HR and business leaders.
- Collaboration with internal/external stakeholders based on regional landscape
- Support compliance with statutory and company requirements across APAC, MEA, and India.
- Act as a key point of contact for HR queries and escalations, providing excellent customer service and resolving issues related to employee data, transactions, and processes.
- Ensure data quality, service level agreements (SLAs), and generate reports to ensure data integrity, process compliance, and operational efficiency.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying process enhancements, supporting Workday testing and mass data uploads, and participating in projects that improve the employee and manager experience.
- Support local/Global initiatives and projects as an active HRSS team member and support organizational goals and objective
