This team develops core services that enable our products to run cutting-edge medical applications. As a Sr Technical Product Manager, you will work with the team and deliver a clear and descriptive set of requirements to enable the delivery of a product features and functionality. You’ll drive the strategic direction and delivery of backend and integrated features, ensuring alignment across stakeholders and technical feasibility. In this role, you will:
- Interact with customers/stakeholders in requirements-gathering, fine tuning, and obtaining product feedback.
- Work with cross-functional teams to deliver features and products.
- Show increasing understanding of the technology stack and its impact on the final product.
- Routinely collaborate with UX Design to know customers and understand behaviors.
- Conduct customer and stakeholder interviews and elaborates on personas.
- Demonstrate ability to influence customers and product managers through persuasion and influencing.
- Collaborate with PM for the release and sprint backlogs short-term roadmap for MVPs and quarterly releases.
- Own and manage the backlog; continuously orders and prioritizes to ensure that 1-2 sprints/iterations of backlog are always ready.
- Prioritize continuously in accordance with the understanding and validation of customer problems and needs.
- Collaborate with Product Managers/TPMs to decompose features into consumable user stories.
- Translate unstructured or ambiguous work requests into actionable user stories and work unit.
- Partner with Service Owners/ Development Managers to ensure healthy development process.
- Applies Agile Methodology.
Education Qualification
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
Desired Characteristics
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria and managing product backlogs.
- Ability to prioritize features based on business value and technical feasibility.
- Solid understanding of backend systems, APIs, microservices, and architecture designs.
- Good knowledge of Linux system.
- Good knowledge of source code and artifact repositories (Git, GitHub, Gitlab and/or similar tools)
- Strong experience in Java language and experience / openness to use others like Python, C++, Go.
- Software Engineering background, with experience in writing code that meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the technology selected for the project
- Ability to communicate effectively with engineering teams and understand technical constraints.
- Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
- Experience in managing expectations and aligning stakeholders on product goals.
- Strong analytical mindset to assess feature impact, dependencies, and risks.
- Familiar with containerization and Kubernetes is a plus
- Able to work under minimal supervision and open to collaboration
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
