Job Title: Staff Platform Engineer
Location: Bangalore-Manyata Tech Park
Business & Team: You will be part of a Platform Engineering team that enables Cloud adoption for the rest of the Bank. We put customers at the centre of everything we do. You’ll manage and optimise the platforms used to power our entire business. You’ll have the opportunity to take responsibility for continuous improvement, ensuring our systems are simpler, faster, and more secure.

Roles & responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate experience developing applications using AWS Technologies such as VPC / Ec2/S3/EBS/ELB/Direct Connect/Cloud Front/Cloud Watch

  • Have experience in leading the team.

  • Operating and troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines. 

  • Experience with Infrastructure as code and automating manual tasks Infrastructure migration/Storage/FS/Log Analysis

  • Mentoring and coaching capabilities, able to influence practices and mindsets in the crew. 

  • Develop, lead, and deploy CI/CD strategies- CI/CD tooling such as GitHub, TeamCity, Artifactory, Octopus Deploy

  • Logging & monitoring: CloudWatch, AppDynamics, Splunk, Grafana and Prometheus knowledge are desirable.

  • Automating repetitive tasks using Python, shell scripting, PowerShell etc.

  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot problems across the CI/CD toolchain.

Essential skills:

  • 12+ years of experience in relevant field.

  • Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills on AWS Technologies

  • Excellent knowledge on AWS cloud

  • Excellent understanding of the infrastructure that runs IaC, GitHub, Repo

  • Have experience in CI/CD pipelines with integrated automated testing and governance.

  • Hands on skills with scripting

  • Experience with the full software development lifecycle and delivery using Agile practices with specific focus on the following concepts: source control, CI/CD, automated testing, logging, and monitoring.

  • Have a great understanding of software delivery practices and lifecycles in Agile methodologies.

Education Qualification: Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Engineering in Computer Science/Information Technology.
