Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Manage PDM/PLM projects across business units ensuring strategic alignment
  • Plan, support, and track implementation goals and actions
  • Consult with business teams on software and peripheral tools usage
  • Stay updated with innovative technologies that support PDM, data handling, and business workflows
  • Lead and manage risk analyses with follow-up actions for risk minimization
  • Ensure knowledge transfer across functions, business units, and locations
  • Identify educational needs and implement training programs
  • Provide level 2 and 3 support for SolidWorks PDM Professional
  • Configure and maintain PDM Pro system, optimizing processes
  • Troubleshoot and solve software deployment, PDM, and licensing issues
  • Collaborate with IT and business partners to develop system recommendations
  • Develop technical documentation and user manuals
  • Mentor and develop junior staff
  • Apply technology and innovation to improve service delivery

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Experience with PLM, ERP, and PDM systems, preferably SolidWorks Enterprise PDM/PDM Professional
  • Strong communicator with excellent technical skills
  • Ability to work with diverse fields and varying technical expertise
  • Strong analytical, facilitation, collaboration, and communication skills
  • 5 + years of experience in a mechanical engineering group within a manufacturing environment
  • Self-starter capable of working in a distributed team environment

Preferred:

  • Experience with CAD tools like Solidworks (2019 or later), Pro Engineer
  • Proven ability to act as an administrator for PDM Pro platform
  • Strong team facilitation and interpersonal skills
  • Experience onboarding and training new users
  • Proven success leading testing and validation of processes
  • Experience evaluating PDM/PLM platforms like PDM Pro or Oracle Cloud PLM
  • Strong mentoring and collaboration skills
