Overview:
At Abnormal Security, we are seeking a results-driven Talent Acquisition Manager to manage and scale our recruitment efforts in India and Singapore, with a primary focus on R&D teams. This role is pivotal in leading the tactical growth and development of Recruitment in the region, driving process standardization, and ensuring the alignment of recruiting activities with our broader business objectives. You will manage a team of recruiters and coordinators, enabling them to attract world-class R&D talent and helping to elevate our employer brand in a critical growth region. As a key member in our recruiting leadership, you’ll directly influence the scalability of our R&D business, helping Abnormal Security continue its growth in the AI-driven cybersecurity space.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Leadership: Oversee the day-to-day management of a team of Recruiters, Sourcers and Coordinators, ensuring consistent performance in meeting recruitment goals.
- Talent Acquisition Strategy: Develop and execute tactical recruitment strategies to support the scaling of our R&D teams, focusing on meeting both short-term hiring needs and long-term talent pipeline development.
- Process Standardization & Scaling: Drive the standardization and optimization of recruitment processes across the life cycle to improve efficiency, quality, and speed in meeting hiring demands.
- Performance Management: Manage daily operations and performance tracking for the recruiting team, ensuring adherence to KPIs, providing regular reports on hiring metrics, and making data-driven adjustments to strategy as needed.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders (hiring managers, HR, leadership) to ensure alignment on hiring priorities, business goals, and resource needs.
- Talent Building Enablement: Provide operational insights, and support ongoing market analysis and employer branding initiatives, to stay ahead of regional talent trends and improve market intelligence.
Required Qualifications:
- 12+ years of total experience in talent acquisition, specifically focused on R&D and technical recruiting
- 2-4 years of direct experience in managing a high-performing recruitment team
- Expertise in developing and executing for a data-driven and innovative recruiting function
- In-depth understanding of the R&D talent landscape, with specific insights into the India talent market
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to track and report on recruitment metrics and performance
- Excellent communication, collaboration and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or HR
- Experience in recruiting for technology, research, and AI-driven industries
- Relevant HR certifications or management training
