Roles & Responsibilities:

As an Engineer QA for our Digital team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of our digital platforms. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Test Planning & Traceability:
  • Develop detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on requirements and specifications.
  • Ensure traceability from requirements to test cases and defects using tools such as Jira.
  • Track and report on test progress, issues, and overall test status.
• Test Automation:
  • Design, implement, and maintain automated tests for digital applications using tools such as Selenium and WebDriver.io.
  • Collaborate with developers to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Continuously improve and optimize the test automation process.
• SDLC Understanding:
  • Work closely with development teams throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to ensure quality at every stage.
  • Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews to ensure that quality standards are met.
  • Be involved in requirements gathering and design reviews to identify potential testing challenges early in the development process.
• Defect Management:
  • Identify, log, and track defects using Jira, ensuring clear documentation and prioritization.
  • Collaborate with development teams to facilitate defect resolution and ensure timely fixes.
• Continuous Improvement:
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices for quality assurance and automation.
  • Proactively recommend improvements in test processes, tools, and methodologies.
• Collaboration & Communication:
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and designers to ensure seamless integration and deployment of quality software.
  • Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Skills & Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience in Quality Assurance (QA) and test automation.
• Strong experience with test automation tools such as Selenium and WebDriver.io.
• Proficiency in using Jira for test case management, defect tracking, and traceability.
• Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
• Experience in writing and executing manual and automated test cases.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with CI/CD tools is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with other testing tools (e.g., Postman, Jenkins) is a plus.
• Experience in testing web applications and mobile applications.
• Knowledge of performance testing and load testing tools is a bonus.
