Routematic Raises $40M to Advance Its AI-Powered Transportation Tech

The company wants to enable safer, smarter and more environmentally friendly workforce commutes.

Routematic, a Bengaluru-based company specializing in employee transportation, announced a brand new round of venture funding. The Series C capital from lead investors Fullerton Carbon Action Fund and Shift4Good totaled $40 million.

With a presence stretching across 23 Indian cities, Routematic equips more than 300,000 monthly users with safe transportation to and from work. Routematic works with over 300 companies to provide their workforces with over 5 million trips every month. Its platform leverages AI to find reliable routes, enable prompt dispatch and match supply with demand.

Backed by its latest injection of capital, Routematic will expand its fleet to encompass 10,000 vehicles across the top five cities in India by March 2026. It will also invest in converting 30 percent of its fleet into electric vehicles. The company will further its goal of creating safer, more intelligent and environmentally friendly commutes.
